I want to swallow them whole, in all of their summer cuteness. Mom took these, of course!

Gabriel took a lick of this popsicle (his first one ever!) and said "thank you for making this bubbie", and then when it was gone said "please will you make more?". There was a communal "awwww".

Ali and I had taken the kids to the spray park before this and when we got to mom & dad's he was passed out cold! Okay, warm. But he didn't move a muscle - for quite some time. With the door wide open!

but there was time to play.

Max about to learn to share his favorite new green semi with Finn (he came with his mom CJ, below).

post margaritas.

Dad had taken Lila for her first fishing excursion (okay, slight exaggeration) that morning. He got them licenses and rods, and while they didn't catch anything, they had a great time.

Mom and I took the kids to the Vancouver Aquarium, and there's a reason this is the one and only picture. It's a great place, but it got so swamped with groups of summer camps that we literally had to, all of a sudden, leave. It was cool at the beginning when it was quieter though, and made me definitely want to go back. Like in the fall.

Ta Da!

They are cute enough to eat. Seriously. Wish we could come play soon. xoxo
