Fundraiser Night for the Whatcom Independent Mountain Pedalers

I forgot my camera the other night - we had a picnic at Zuanich Point and it was a beautiful evening, windy enough that Lila got to fly her first kite - by herself! It was fabulous.
I remembered the camera at the bowling alley though. Go figure. Bowling alley's are not my favorite place - no offense to anyone. But it was hilarious. At first Max was literally jaw-dropped, watching people toss these big balls and knocking down pins. But unfortunately the ball was too heavy for him to toss or throw so he had to use the below aparatus that is made for kids his age. You set the ball on it and give it a nudge and it rolls down. Can you say anti-climatic? If he could've said "this is lame" he would have. Lila had a great time though, throwing the ball down the lane (literally), and it gave Max something to aspire to. Check them in their shoes. Total crack up.
