Mom and dad's 40th fell on Thanksgiving day this year, hence the wedding cake in the background (which looked remarkably like it came from 1967). We surprised them with a champagne toast and cake instead of the traditional desserts, though I think dad was secretly hoping for icebox cake. Sorry dad, next time.

Lila was very into Wendy's very pregnant belly.
Friday's dipping of the yearly almond roca. It went pretty well this year - Matt took Lila home to nap and Max slept through most of it. Can't beat that! Though after last year's chaos, anything would've felt easier. : )
