Some recent shots.

She loved her tatoos, and they stayed on especially long considering the bath strike she's on.

Dad's the pizza maker in the family and he's been waiting to make some with Lila since she's been born, if not earlier. So the time finally came, at her request actually, and she loved the whole experience. But not as much as dad.

You can see Lila here towards the back with mom next to her. We went to the NW Washington Fair (twice) and she had a blast - she was very brave and went on rides even! Of course I didn't have my camera when she was on the carousel with Matt, who was riding on the horse next to her. That was a sight!
The girl who owns this cow said Lila could pet her. So she gets close enough to touch it and the owner adds "just be careful because she startles easily and could leap up". Oh geez, thanks for the afterthought.
Lila was SO excited about mom's birthday (okay, mostly about the cake) - she wanted to help light the candles, she sang the whole birthday song to her and helped blow them out. Of course she helped with the eating of it too...

Grampa came to visit for the week, and Lila's still asking to see him. I think because he didn't come on a plane, she doesn't get that he lives out of town. We're still working on explaining that concept.

"Two kids", as Lila likes to say (soundsl like "two kidth"). : )
