We went to Hovander Park today WITHOUT A STROLLER! I feel so liberated. Also without hats, coats, gloves etc. etc. etc. Just one.small.bag. And one.big.smile from me. (!)

swingin' from a tree.

snack time.

And we get to eat outside! Ahhh, freedom from indoors...

She has all the gear: tools, apron, gloves. And the chair she placed behind her for 'resting'. She was actually quite helpful though!

Lila called this a gardening project, but really, it was glorified yardwork. Though we did transplant a blueberry bush into a pot with strawberry plants. She's excited to water her 'fruit salad' pot every day. Or so.

Max got in on it for a bit, but was otherwise riding cars and bikes. And trying to get Lilly to chase the toys he was throwing for her. She wasn't biting. No pun. And he LOVED the bugs we were finding along the way. How long can you stare at a balled up potato bug waiting for it to open? How long can Max? One LONG time.

Oh, and Spring Break window washing in effect. Wow, what a difference that makes, especially after all the snow and wind! Literally, figuratively washing the winter off. Ahhhhh....
